The History of www.mirrorsoflife.org
This site was created in November of 2004. Since, that time it has grown slowly into a little community. I started this site by putting my most valuable work of art to be displayed to the world to those who enjoy poetry, drawing and stories. The people who love to share their creativity. I started out by only displaying my own work of art but it quickly spread to others work of art. As time went by more poems from different authors emerged. More of my stories took form and I placed them here for all to see.
History Name
How I picked out a name for my website came very easy to me. It use to be called !The Mirror Reflection Of Me! but as my website evolved it became !The Mirror Reflection Of Life! And, the subtitle always was the same Beauty Lies Everywhere. The site had become not a reflection of just me, it had become the reflection of those who visited it and called it their home.
The more time passed the more my website evolved. More ideas flowed around in my head and many more pages were born. The site no longer took form of only me but of you all. I became excited about giving back to others. I had this desire to help those people who need that comfort, that place which to express who they are. To create an environment that was safe, comfortable, and most of all warm. My dream is for visiters to feel at home or make this site their home. This website has constantly been growing and will continue to do so.
My website domain use to be www.mirrorsoflife.net but I had lost that name because I didnt have the money at the time to renew it. So I had to get another and www.mirrorsoflife.org rocketed into place. It took some time to get use to it, but as my website had evolved the name took on a better meaning. It got me thinking about putting educational things on my website. It became a place more than to express yourself and your creativity, but a place to also be educated. Education is important to me more so now than ever before. That story you can read in Your True Stories section.
Present and Future Goals For My Website
I began putting new pages into motion and getting more of an informational and educational site. I didnt just want people to express themselves but to be educated as well. I want this site to be fun, exciting, warm and educational. This is my focus from now and into the future.
