Sad Eyes
Written By: C. N. Young
Teary eyes looked down at the floor.
Weary eyes lack justice.
Teary eyes, tear drops hit the floor
With a splash but no shock
Is present.
Drawn into another world
A world yet replaced by sadden times.
Teary eyes looked down at the floor.
Weary eyes lack justice.
And sadness chooses you
As a hostess.
Tears turn into beads of blood
And they rain like a flood.
A body slouches down sunken
Into the chair.
Teary eyes beam into the floor
And there goes the swooshing
Of two doors.
A man appears with a serious face
And sad eyes tears race.
Picks up ones chin and
Looks into sad eyes.
Tells a riddle that one has yet to solve.
Sad eyes gets lost in the maze of
The riddle and tears keep forming
Like puddles.
The man touches with gentle hands.
Hands that could not heal
A deepened pain.
Sad eyes looked down at the floor.
Weary eyes lack justice.
A body suddenly collapses
Shattered by broken
Sorrows
